Ronaldinho: I Won't Be Destroyed

Barcelona star Ronaldinho told the German edition of Vanity Fair magazine that his critics will never be able to bring him down...

The Brazilian attacker was defiant in the face of recent criticism, stating that he would turn his form around despite what the naysayers feel about the matter.

He said, "There are jealous people who'd love to destroy me, but they will never do it. Nobody destroys Ronaldinho.

"There isn't a critic in the world who can take away my spirit."

Allegations of malingering and poor attitude have dogged the former Paris Saint-Germain man of late, but he remains adamant that both he and his club are on the patch to success.

"Barça can use a strong Ronaldinho to help them win titles," he continued.

"Life is boring unless we're winning trophies, and I also find it frustrating if I can't help out on the pitch by playing.

"I'll do whatever it takes to be a champion with Barcelona."

Brushing aside suggestions that he was preparing to leave, with AC Milan and Chelsea said to be among his possible destinations, he added, "With Barça I have a wonderful future.

"The lads here are my family, and I'm just as happy as I was in my first day here.

"I will stay, and I'll do everything that I can to regain my best form."
